Located in Old Town Kern. East on Truxtun Ave, North on Baker, just west of the SWC of Baker Street and Sumner.
Red Pepper began on Sumner Street in 1979. Having taken over the space where Wool Growers and Long Branch Saloon had been, it was created and managed by the Sabedra and Camacho families. In the 70s it was one of only six Mexican restaurants in town.
Today it is Locally owned and operated by Chef Gilbert Sabedra. It is known for its unique Mexican cuisine with a exclusive touch.
