George Cuneo was in The Kiwanis Club of East Bakersfield. He was a great statesman dedicated to support the Key Clubs of East High, Garces, Highland and Foothill. He supported the high school Key Clubbers activities, like broom hockey, and Special Olympics at KC’s special education center. Before WW2 he spent some time at Stanford and went on to become a Dentist. Also attended a record amount of Stanford/ Cal Big Games. His war stories of army truck rides over the steep mountain roads of Nepal to WW2 field hospitals in China were enjoyable to listen. George and his angel partner, Frankie, are looking over us forever. Source: Bob Shore
