I have family who lived on Lincoln Street, a short walk from the market. So many families were fortunate to have a local market where they found their daily groceries and employees who knew you on a first name basis. In 2010, Green Frog Market celebrated its 75th anniversary.
By 2016, the Green Frog Market closed its doors on the Bernard Street and Alta Vista location, a landmark spot they had occupied for 76 years.
