The Fishery - Proprietor: Claude Smith Oldham, 19 Oct. 1894 - 12 Aug 1986. Bakersfield Californian, October 13, 1915. Claude Oldham has resigned his position in the iron works and in partnership with Clarence Hamm will in one week open a fish market in East Bakersfield. The young men will send around a wagon also and expect to fill a want in the local market.
