Stinson’s is looking for talent. Serving Bakersfield since 1947, the family owned business is looking to hire as it expands.

Thursday on “First Look with Scott Cox,” company President Ben Stinson talked about the two-day job fair to be held at the Bakersfield Marriott at the Convention Center.

Positions in accounting, business development, delivery and more are available at Stinson’s, which provides office supplies to companies with free delivery.

“We want quality people to join our team,” Stinson said. “People with a strong work ethic, a great attitude and are who are willing to learn.”

The job fair kicks off from noon to 7 p.m. Friday. The second job fair is from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

You don’t have to bring a pen to the event — Stinson’s will have plenty — but you are asked to have copies of your resume, a valid CA drivers license and a motor vehicle records.
